Lift Me Up

Deep face, head & neck massage · 70 min · $175

Let the tension lift.

Buccal · Japanese facial · Lymphatic · Craniosacral mouthwork

For when stress settles in your face: a clenched jaw, a tight forehead, tension you don't notice until someone finds it. It's not a facelift. It's seventy minutes of deep, focused work that lifts the weight of stress off your face, jaw and neck.

What's included

  1. Buccal massage. Deep, focused work for your face, neck, shoulders and décolleté — and, with gloved hands, from inside the cheek, to reach the jaw and cheek muscles we clench when we're stressed.

  2. Japanese facial massage techniques. Rhythmic, flowing movements across the whole face, alternating faster and slower tempos. This is the most relaxing part of the session.

  3. Craniosacral mouthwork. Gentle, quiet craniosacral techniques, including work inside the mouth with gloved hands, to help your jaw and face settle.

  4. A gentle lymphatic finish. Light, rhythmic strokes toward the lymph nodes in your neck, to close the session softly.

What to expect

  • Before we start, a quick check: pressure, anything new since your intake form, and whether you're comfortable with the work inside the mouth today.

  • I cleanse your face first, then we begin.

  • Deep work can feel intense where you hold the most tension. Tell me anytime, and I'll adjust.

  • During the work inside the mouth, you can pause at any moment — just raise your hand.

  • The 70 minutes include time to settle in and get dressed afterward.

Who it's for

  • You clench or grind your teeth, or your jaw feels tight by the end of the day.

  • Stress shows up in your face, neck and shoulders.

  • You spend long hours at a screen or on the phone.

  • You want an hour that's just for you, with deep, quiet care.

If you have a TMJ condition, this massage isn't a treatment for it. Many people with jaw tension come for this work; if you're under the care of a dentist or doctor, check with them first.

How many sessions

I usually suggest a series of 10 sessions, once a week. You're welcome to come for a single session first and decide from there.

10-session package: $1,500. That's $150 per session instead of $175, for when you come regularly.

Before your visit

  • Please come without makeup. I'll still cleanse your face before we start.

  • Botox or fillers: please book at least 4 weeks after your injections.

  • Let me know about recent dental work, cold sores, or any facial treatments (peels, laser, microneedling) in the past 2 weeks.

  • A $50 deposit holds your appointment.

When to reschedule

This massage isn't right for you today if you have:

  • an active cold sore, mouth sore, or dental infection;

  • a fever, cold, or any contagious illness;

  • broken, irritated, or sunburned skin on the face or neck;

  • recent surgery, injury, or dental work on the face, head, or neck — until your provider clears you;

  • Botox or fillers in the past 4 weeks.

This massage isn't offered during pregnancy or if you've had a thread lift. Please also tell me if you have epilepsy, take blood thinners, have facial implants, or are in cancer treatment, so we can decide together what's safe. If you're not sure, just ask — and you can always move your appointment to a better day.

Questions

Is the work inside the mouth uncomfortable?

It can feel unusual at first. I wear gloves, work slowly, and check in with you. You can pause at any time.

Will it hurt?

Deep work can feel intense in tight spots, but it shouldn't hurt. You decide the pressure, and I adjust as we go.

Will it lift my face?

The name is about how you feel when you leave. Everyone's face is different, so I don't promise visible changes. What I can promise is careful, unhurried work for your face, head and neck.

Can I come if I have TMJ issues?

Many people with jaw tension come for this work. It's not a medical treatment for TMJ disorder; if you're under a dentist's or doctor's care, check with them first.

How is this different from your lymphatic drainage session?

Lymphatic drainage is very light work for the whole body. This session focuses on your face, head and neck, with deeper pressure, and ends with a lymphatic finish.
